K-Pop Sensation in Malaysia

Wakin' up in the mornin' i reached my lap top 1st [wut a boring life that i lead]
M not going 2 talk bout myself....

It's just that i feel K-pop is garnering a lot of attention nowadays...
It's not like it used to be...
I still remember in 2006, not many people recognised DBSK.
I didn't even noe bout them coz i was more into J-Drama & Anime....
One day, at matric.... my rumate brought a fren dat changed my life....
She introduced DBSK to me....
N it was like a virus...
I introduced it to my fren Huda Nadiah, then within a few weeks i noticed a lot of her frens edi in love wif DBSK.
That showed how easy Kpop spread among us~~~*

Now,everywhere i go...even when i'm shopping at tesco... i heard SNSD,BOA n much more...
It's becoming public interest...
Haha...i feel awesome [stunned maybe] but at da same time i feel greedy...
Coz i dun wanna share K-pop with just anybody who don't noe the value of K-pop....
Aish, Era.fm & Hot.fm always played Sorry2 by SuJu...
I turned up da volume....
But i've much thing in my mind....
What about my hubbies that r bout to be snatched by other millions fan gurls?
What bout the concert tix? Do i have to "berebut" wif millions of other fans?

My Anniversary with 2PM & Taec!

End of this month, it'll be my 1st anniversary being 2PM fan & Taecyeon's lover! XD

2PM is a daebak!
I started to love k-pop afta i knew bout DBSK!
I started to bcome obsessed with k-pop afta i listened to AAA by 2PM!
These 2 groups r definitely different & addictive in their own categories!
I'm not going to talk much bout DBSK since this post is bout my anniversary being 2PM's fan!

Time does flies quickly huh?
Without noticing it, a year has already passed since AAA was promoted...
It was last year, at the end of April
when i was on my holiday for about 3 months...
It's all Thanx to my k-poppie frens ~ Sherer,munie,farra,mas,wawa,ducky n a lot more!~

Well, in a year a lot of things happened to 2PM...
Since they r a very talented grup, popularity is rising well with them but things aren't alwys on the bright side.... i think all of these happened bcoz they r at the peak of being top grup idol!
I don't blame any1 4 the disasters happened to them since that what made 2PM stronger!

Anyway, ignore the antis or "so-called-fans" coz i know true fans out there who r like me will always stand by 2PM!
We will always keep the faith! v(^0^)v

DBSK in Music Station for 2nd time!

TVXQ is Number 10 for the first half of 2009

Oricon recently released their mid year album sales ranking for 2009 and TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki did better than most expected. “The Secret Code” came in at number 10 with a sales figure of 248,000 for the first half of 2009. This placed them above popular artists such as KAT-TUN who had 237,000 sales for "Break the Records -by you & for you-" and Utada who had 228,000 sales for "This is The One." BoA who released a combo "Best Album and American Debut album" was ranked 25th with a sales figure of 131,000.

Here are the Top 10 sales figures:
1. Mr Children - "Supermarket Fantasy" (1.2 million)
2. Exile - "Exile Ballad Best" (807k)
3. Dreams Come True - "Do Your Dreams come true?" (632k)
4. Remioromen - "Remio Best" (471k)

Marty Friedman, former lead guitarist of heavy metal band Megadeth and a Japanophile recently shared his thoughts on TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki:

"They would sell even if they weren’t good looking! TVXQ’s singing ability is worth its value in money.

TVXQ, an accapella dance group from Korea, and who attended last year’s Kouhaku Uta Gassen, can be said to be the representative of “Global J-pop” with their impressive harmonizing.

Maybe fans will say it’s bullshit, but to me, if you can sing, you’ll be able to sell even if you weren’t good looking, right?

Their song [Bolero], is a great ballad that showcases their super vocals.
What surprised me was that compared to other J-pop ballads, the feeling for this song is dark. The beat is slow, and there was no usage of guitars etc. Even so, the song gave off a dark and haunting vibe to me.

I like K-pop too, and I listen to it often, and there are of course other songs with dark vibes too. The difference with J-pop is that K-pop uses Classic music as it’s foundation, thus naturally creating a melody with a dramatic feel.

At the “ending climax”, one person (Jaejoong) uses an almost feminine pitch to produce the effect of harmonizing between men and women; the harmonization from the 5 of them is amazing!"

It's pretty cool that a well respected musician like Marty Friedman in a genre like Heavy Metal would give praise to TVXQ.
