History
The 2PM members all auditioned to become part of JYP Entertainment, where the Wonder Girls also belong to. Some members, including Jaebeom who auditioned in USA, auditioned from other countries. Their training days are filmed on a documentary called Hot Blood Men that aired on Mnet, along with the members of 2AM. The show documented the rigorous training program of JYP trainees as well as the elimination of three of trainees from the group.

They are all trained in dancing, acrobatics and singing.[1] They debuted with their song "10 Out Of 10" on September 4, 2008. Then on October 17, 2008, they started to promote "Only You" another song from their debut mini album "Hottest Time of the Day."

Promotions began April 23 on M!Countdown, performing an introductory dance to "What Time Is It Now" leading up to the title single "Again & Again". "They would sell even if they weren’t good looking! TVXQ’s singing ability is worth its value in money.

TVXQ, an accapella dance group from Korea, and who attended last year’s Kouhaku Uta Gassen, can be said to be the representative of “Global J-pop” with their impressive harmonizing.

Maybe fans will say it’s bullshit, but to me, if you can sing, you’ll be able to sell even if you weren’t good looking, right?

Their song [Bolero], is a great ballad that showcases their super vocals.
What surprised me was that compared to other J-pop ballads, the feeling for this song is dark. The beat is slow, and there was no usage of guitars etc. Even so, the song gave off a dark and haunting vibe to me.

I like K-pop too, and I listen to it often, and there are of course other songs with dark vibes too. The difference with J-pop is that K-pop uses Classic music as it’s foundation, thus naturally creating a melody with a dramatic feel.

At the “ending climax”, one person (Jaejoong) uses an almost feminine pitch to produce the effect of harmonizing between men and women; the harmonization from the 5 of them is amazing!"

It's pretty cool that a well respected musician like Marty Friedman in a genre like Heavy Metal would give praise to TVXQ.

Andoe!!!Dong Bang Shin Ki, “Disbanding? Hahaaa...Just groundless rumours”

There has been rumours that group Dong Bang Shin Ki is disbanding.

Curiosity rose as the group’s schedule to film for ‘2009 Summer SMTown’ jacket on 25th June was called off. This had made fans even more curious why so especially with rumours about the group disbanding coming up recently.

With that SM Entertainment cleared in a phone interview on 26th, “This is just rumours. Like the past, such rumours came up and there were all groundless. This time this is the same thing.” emphasising that rumours about the group disbanding back in year 2004 and 2006 were all groundless.

The representative said, “Dong Bang Shin Ki had left Korea on 26th June for their performance in Thailand.”

Meanwhile, Dong Bang Shin Ki recently started on their Japanese tour concert in May. And coming 4th and 5th July they will be having a large-scale concert performance in Tokyo Dome.

Today i watched a live-action movie, "Blood: The Last Vampire." This is not a movie that i'm looking forward to but long story-short,my dad n i finnally decided to watch it.I want to watch Terminator but my dad said that the movie is childish(hahaa coz it involves Robots from a popular kids fav cartoon).On the other hand,my dad wants to watch DRAG ME TO HELL. Lastly we chose to watch this movie...

WHILE WATCHING IT,I'VE KEPT THINKING THAT I WAS WATCHING AN ANIME BUT THE CHARACTERS R NOT CARTOON BUT HUMAN-BEING. WATCHING IT, I KEPT ASKING MYSELF IS THIS MOVIE'S ADAPTED FROM AN ANIME n YEAH, I WAS RIGHT THIS TIME.

The anime shares the same title with this movie....



Y did i say this movie is interesting?It's because it's a unique movie due to the facts that the main lead is a Korean actress + the mixture of 2 different cultures (JAPAN + AMERICAN).
I was really10x awed by the action skills of samurai n da emotions of the main lead which was really convincing to me.

When i watched this, i was awed by the action moves dat really resemble anime n i remembered 2 of my fav anime-HELL GIRL n SAMURAI X. Hahaaa afta watched this movie, I said to my dad that this movie really suits my taste coz I'm an anime lover n this movie reminds me that i've missed a lot of good mangas n anime.

BoA and TVXQ getting together for AVEX A-Nation Concert

SM Entertainment's BoA and TVXQ will be getting together once again to perform at the A-Nation concert. Although BoA and TVXQ are Korean artists they have both risen to be the cream of the crop for AVEX. A-Nation is an annual concert held by AVEX, inviting their top artists to perform on one big stage.

TVXQ will be in attendance for the opening concert on August 1st at the Kumamoto National Park (Kyuushuu). They will also attend the August 8th concert in Ehime, the August 22nd and 23rd concerts in Tokyo, and the August 29th and 30th concerts in Osaka. My Seung Gi Sings Again! Chuahae!

Singer turned actor Lee Seung Gi has released a new song for his fans after a long break from singing.

Currently filming SBS weekend drama Brilliant Legacy, Lee Seung Gi released a digital single Will You Marry Me on the 18th. His last digital single Let's Go On a Vacation was released more than a year ago in May 2008.

His management said that he managed to record this song for his fans amongst his busy filming schedule and until a full length album comes out, they would appreciate the fans' support. The song Will You Marry Me was written by Kim Do Hoon and is different from Seung Gi's usual ballads as its more of a romantic fluffy song which will hopefully be used for future proposals. Although he has released a single, it is unlikely that he will be able to perform it live due to the busy schedule of his drama and 1N2D(MY FAV TV SHOW).

The best thing about this book is the "voice". It should be taught to young writers who are trying to learn "voice". It's as distinctive a voice as Holden Caulfield, as potentially exasperating. But you HAVE to keep reading. I was amazed by how well Sittenfeld calls up the anxiety-ridden perceptive paranoid world of the teenage girl - Sometimes I found myself just cringing reading the book, but also thinking to myself, "Bravo, Sittenfeld(the author). You just NAILED that moment." There are sections in the book which are as perceptive about teenage life as anything I have ever read - and it makes the book a pretty uncomfortable read, I have to say - because teenagers are awkward, and "playing" at being adults ... and you want to save Lee(the main character) from all the trouble you know she's going to go through, but you can't. Sittenfeld also has a gift - a GIFT, I tell you - for honing in on a small moment, and exposing it, dissecting it.

Lee, our narrator, as a kid, was obsessed with prep schools. She is from the mid-west, her family is not a privileged wealthy family, but she somehow gets a scholarship to a prestigious New England prep school called Ault. And so she goes. The book is broken down into the four years of high school, and so we go through the entire time of her education with Lee.
The book is episodic - there is not one thruline - some characters come and go, others stay ... It feels the way high school feels. Prep school is a whole different thing, though - and Sittenfeld, who went to prep school, just nails it. The huge class differences between the elite kids - born to go to prep school - and, say, the minority kids - most of whom have huge scholarships. Lee is not in either group. She's a middle-class kid, not brilliant academically, not a genius athlete - just determined to be there.
Lee is not a pleasant companion (I suppose very few high school girls are). She is riddled with self-consciousness. It is horrible to read. But God, I recognize myself in it. She is concerned over who to be friends with, because of what it will look like. She has crushes on gorgeous junior boys. She struggles. But there comes a time when you realize: you know what, Lee? You need to fucking grow up. Sittenfeld does not sugarcoat Lee's social problems. Lee is not an ingratiating person - and I guess that was one of the main complaints Sittenfeld got with early drafts of the novel. Couldn't Lee be a bit more likable? But Sittenfeld stuck to her guns, and I think the book is MUCH stronger for it. It's not, perhaps, a fun read - as a matter of fact, the entire book made me wretchedly uncomfortable - but that's why it's literature, and not just fluff. Like what I said: It's the voice. What a VOICE this book has. Completely successful in creating this character.

This novel was one of those first novels that gets a tremendous amount of buzz (causing much envy in people like ... oh ... MYSELF), sits on the NY TImes bestseller list for a while, and has much press devoted to it.

Regarding the moral of the story... In my own definition n point of view... YES,U'RE DEFINITELY YOUNG ONCE...SO LIVE UR LIVE TO THE MAX COZ EVERYDAY IS A NEW DAY! U MIGHT REGRET IT IF U DO NOT DO DA BEST U CAN IN UR LIFE. LEAD UR LIFE,DO NOT LET IT LEAD U OTHERWISE...

Hahaaa,i think i could continue bubbling here more n more but let's get back to Zac Efron, da boyish guy.Well,i'm more attracted with his eyes... THE DAZZLING EYES. I'm confessing rite now that i dun like him in 1st place but when i watched this movie i can't help to lyk his face~ His smile n boyish face is definitely irresistable~~~
Hahaa seriously i dun like him in HSM n espc when i knew that he dates Vanessa... Hahaa can't explain y.
But another thing dat I realised in this movie was his improving acting skill~ Well,this is just my opinion... 1 of my frens said his way of act is like a retard person??? Hahahaa no comment! =P

TOHOSHINKI: 2009 Jingu Fireworks Festival Tickets is Sold Out in 1 Day

Tohoshinki in sponsored by Nikkan Sports is performing for 2009 Meiji Jingu Fireworks Festival on August 6th and thousands fireworks will be lighted up to decorate a beautiful stage.

As soon as the official announcement that Tohoshinki would make appearance at the event was out on June 5th, the whole tickets of the event were sold out and some tickets are already traded on internet auction site.

12,000 fireworks will be shot to decorate the night sky at Jingu Stadium and live show is held at 4 locations at National Stadium. Tohoshinki’s arena at the National Stadium is available for more than 50,000 audiences.

In case of the sold out ticket, the event organizer commented “I haven’t been able to sell all the tickets of this event before. This is, yet again, shows the power of Tohoshinki.” He didn’t hide his surprise.

2PM JunSu’s self-arranged jazz version of ‘I Had A Lover’ raises interests amongst netizens

Member of group 2PM, which has been gaining much love and support from fans for their latest hit ‘Again&Again’, JunSu has recently caused a topic amongst netizens for a video of him singing.

The video was up as one of the hottest topic on the online forums and video sites like Daum TVPot etc. In the video, he was shown practising singing with his friend on the song ‘I Had A Lover’ originally by Lee Eun Mi. And this version of the song is arranged personally by JunSu himself and is said to be the jazz version of the original song.

Netizens commented, “I get goosebumps from hearing this song”, “He has really good vocal power, better than what I expect” etc.

Also recently on a KBS ‘Great Song Confrontation’, members JunHo and JunSu singing in a team had also earned much praises from viewers and fans.

When their two worlds collide, they face issues and confrontations that both of them have yet to learn and understand from each other.

I have to confess that i'm not a BIG FAN OF MALAY MOVIES but this movie indeed had made me proud of Malaysians who had produce such a great movie.Well, I admit that this is not the greatest movie i've ever watched but i'm really proud of the main actor n actress as well as the cute little boy(Hadziq) that made this movie enjoyable and full with humour.

Actually, I have a lot things to say here but i think u guys have to watch it first.
Maybe this muvi doesn't suits someone's taste but i think this is a great Malay movie coz i couldn't get enough of it.
